On Tuesday morning, United Way of Saginaw County partnered with Victorious Believers Ministries Church of God in Christ and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to distribute food to local families.

The groups also had an extra boost thanks to a contribution from the Detroit Lions.

“We received 250 turkeys along with boxes of prepared food from the Detroit Lions, and we’ve been able to assist more than 400 residents so far,” explained Tracy Waters of Victorious Believers Ministries.
