CeeDee Lamb says he’s symptom-free after exiting the Lions matchup with a possible concussion
CeeDee Lamb says he’s feeling completely fine after the head injury scare he experienced during the Cowboys’ matchup with the Lions.
The Dallas star wideout left last Thursday’s game after being evaluated for a possible concussion, but heading into Sunday’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, he’s on track to suit up. Lamb returned to practice on Thursday and emphasized that he hasn’t dealt with any lingering effects from the hit that forced him out of the Detroit game, according to Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News.
He explained that the Cowboys’ medical staff put him through extensive vision-related tests designed to reveal any leftover symptoms. “A lot of it is eye exercises and focusing on things that could trigger any signs of a concussion,” Lamb said. “I haven’t experienced anything at all.”
Dallas enters the week at 6–6, sitting behind the NFC East–leading Philadelphia Eagles. The Vikings, meanwhile, are at the bottom of the NFC North with a 5–8 record. With four games left on their schedule, the Cowboys likely need to run the table to stay in the playoff race.
After facing Minnesota, Dallas will finish the regular season against the Chargers, Commanders, and Giants. The team is trying to rebound from last year’s disappointing 48–32 Wild Card loss to the Packers.
