The Detroit Lions won’t be taking the NFC crown to this year’s Super Bowl, but Jared Goff’s wife, Christen, has found another way to steal the spotlight this weekend.

As part of its February digital release celebrating the NFL season, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shined a light on several notable partners of league stars. The feature included conversations with Haley Cavinder, Christen Goff, Claire Kittle, Ronika Love, and Normani.

For Christen Goff, the collaboration wasn’t new territory. She previously made waves with SI Swimsuit and earned Co–Rookie of the Year honors after her breakout appearance in 2022. This most recent shoot, however, carried deeper significance. Since welcoming her first child, Romy, in July 2025, Goff says her perspective — and confidence — has evolved.

“This last year completely changed me,” she shared with SI Swimsuit. “Pregnancy and motherhood gave me a level of confidence I hadn’t known before. There was so much uncertainty ahead of me back then, and now I feel grounded, like I finally have clarity.”

Earlier this week, Goff gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes of her digital cover shoot by posting exclusive footage online — and the reaction was instant.

“Actually gasped,” one follower commented.
“Absolutely unreal,” another added.
“The most beautiful of them all,” someone else wrote.

How Christen and Jared’s story began

Christen and Jared Goff first crossed paths in 2019 after connecting on the dating app Raya. Their relationship took off quickly and has remained strong ever since — though Christen later discovered she remembered their first interaction incorrectly.

“I was convinced he messaged me first,” she admitted. “But when we went back and checked, it turns out I reached out to him. So to anyone hesitating — take the chance. If you don’t try, you’ll never know.”

Seven years later, it’s safe to say she has zero regrets about making the first move.
