Detroit Lions Add Defensive End Ahead of Week 11 Game Against Jaguars

The Detroit Lions made a roster move ahead of their Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, re-signing defensive end Isaiah Thomas to the practice squad.

Thomas, who was waived on November 9, returns to the team’s depth chart, bolstering the defensive line as the Lions head into a crucial part of the season.

Thomas first joined the Lions on October 15 after spending time with the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad.

During his brief stint with Detroit, he appeared in two games, registering three tackles and a fumble recovery.

Although he was waived recently, Thomas’ familiarity with the team, combined with his ability to contribute on special teams and in depth situations, made him a valuable addition to the Lions’ practice squad.

This move further strengthens the Lions’ defensive line depth as they prepare for a pivotal contest against the Jaguars, who have struggled this season.

Detroit’s defense has been performing at a high level, and Thomas’ return adds additional support to a unit that has shown resilience and consistency.

As the Lions look to maintain their strong defensive play, having Thomas back in the fold provides extra depth and reinforcement for the stretch run of the season.
