The battle for the No. 1 seed in the NFC and the NFC North division title will be decided on Sunday Night Football as the Detroit Lions (14-2) face the Minnesota Vikings (14-2) at Ford Field. The victor will secure a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, while the loser will head into Wild Card Weekend on the road.

Detroit is undefeated in Sunday Night Football this season (against the Rams and Texans) and defeated Minnesota in their first matchup in mid-October.

Vikings report: After losing consecutive games to the Lions and Rams in October, Minnesota has won nine straight games, seven of which were by 10 points or fewer, staying neck and neck with Detroit in the NFC North.

During this streak, quarterback Sam Darnold has maintained excellent form, throwing 18 touchdowns and just two interceptions over his past seven games. Recently, he’s thrown three touchdown passes in each of his last
