Rise and Hoop Podcast, Episode 5: Big 12 Tournament Preview, BYU Recruiting, and More

Ryan and I are back with Episode 5 of the Rise and Hoop podcast, focused entirely on BYU basketball. We discuss the BYU-Utah game, preview the Big 12 tournament, and talk about recruiting. I also share some details from my conversation with the father of 2026 4-star wing Austin Goosby, one of the top prospects in his class. Goosby recently took an unofficial visit to BYU, and the family left impressed with Kevin Young. I will also be publishing a Vanquish the Foe article soon that covers Austin’s ties to BYU and how his visit went.

Additionally, Ryan and I offer our predictions for BYU’s performance in the Big 12 tournament and explore what the Cougars’ NCAA Tournament seeding could look like if they make a deep run. BYU’s first game is on Thursday against either Cincinnati or Iowa State.
