Wide receiver Matthew Golden took some time to visit the Lions over the weekend.
Golden posted the fastest 40-yard dash among receivers at this year’s Scouting Combine, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media says he met with the reigning NFC North champions.
Golden spent two years at Houston before moving to Texas for the 2024 season. He made 58 receptions for 907 yards and nine scores before running a 4.29-second 40 in Indianapolis earlier this year.
The Lions return Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Tim Patrick, and Kalif Raymond from the 2024 season, but they may want to add something new to the offense if Golden is still available when they pick next week.
