Kentucky’s Jaland Lowe and Amari Williams Selected for NBA G League Elite Camp

Two key Kentucky Wildcats—point guard Jaland Lowe and center Amari Williams—have been invited to participate in the 2025 NBA G League Elite Camp, which runs from May 9 to May 11 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. This event offers prospects a valuable opportunity to impress NBA scouts and potentially earn a spot in the NBA Draft Combine scheduled for the following week.

Lowe, a 6’1″ transfer from the University of Pittsburgh, made waves last season with averages of 16.8 points, 5.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game, achievements that earned him All-ACC recognition. Known for his speed and on-court leadership, Lowe is projected to start at point guard for Kentucky next season. However, he still has the option to return to college if he withdraws from the NBA Draft by May 28.

On the other hand, Williams—a 7-footer from England—had a strong showing this past season. He posted 10.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and over three assists per game while showcasing his impressive 7-foot-6 wingspan and rare blend of size and skill. Currently, he’s ranked No. 63 on ESPN’s NBA Draft board.

Meanwhile, Kentucky wings Koby Brea and Otega Oweh have already secured invitations to the main NBA Combine. The 2025 NBA Draft is scheduled to be held June 25–26 in Brooklyn, New York.
