Kerby Joseph Sends Brutal Message to All 17 NFL QBs on the Lions’ 2025 Schedule

Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph is already turning up the heat for the upcoming NFL season, sending a clear warning to every quarterback he’ll line up against.

Known around the league for his top-tier trash talk, Joseph isn’t just all words—he’s got the game to match. Since being drafted in 2021, he’s racked up 247 tackles and 17 interceptions, showing time and time again that he’s a legitimate threat on defense.

Looking ahead to 2025, Joseph is setting the bar even higher. In past seasons, he’s disrupted the rhythm of some of the league’s biggest names, including Aaron Rodgers. This year, though, he’s aiming to disrupt every QB the Lions face.

In an interview on The Rich Eisen Show, Joseph didn’t hold back about his individual targets for the season. He’s eyeing a pick from each opposing quarterback on the Lions’ schedule—and maybe even a few games where he grabs multiple interceptions, just as he’s done before.

“All 17 of them,” Joseph said, referring to the quarterbacks he’ll face. “And I’ll probably have more than one game with multiple interceptions—that’s just what I do. Every season, I’ve had at least one two-pick game.”

Given his track record of delivering in big moments, it’s not a stretch to believe Joseph could notch some historic numbers this season. Now playing under a new contract, he’s determined to elevate his impact even more.

Joseph Prefers Cold Weather Matchups Early in the Season

With the NFL schedule release around the corner, players and fans alike are eager to see how the 2025 season will unfold. For Joseph, there’s one thing he’d prefer: to get the chilly road games out of the way early.

Speaking with Eisen, Joseph listed several cold-weather teams he’d like to face sooner rather than later.

“Let’s get those cold-weather games out of the way right at the start,” he said. “Baltimore, Philly, Green Bay, Chicago—play them first. Cincinnati doesn’t get that bad, but we can toss the Commanders into a cold game too. I’ve got boys over there; we played together at Illinois. They know how I do.”

Joseph is realistic, though. He knows the Lions can handle whatever the schedule throws at them—cold, heat, or otherwise. Still, minimizing freezing conditions wouldn’t hurt.

As always, Joseph brings the personality and confidence fans have come to expect. If he backs up his talk again this season, the league will have plenty to watch out for—no matter the weather or the opponent.
