The Detroit Lions are currently in the middle of their offseason, and head coach Dan Campbell and his team are putting in serious effort to secure another successful year—hopefully one that lasts longer this time.
But for quarterback Jared Goff, the excitement this offseason isn’t limited to football. Goff and his wife, Christen Harper Goff, are expecting their first child together, adding more joy to their lives.
Christen Harper Goff is recognized as a top model for Sports Illustrated, having appeared in the magazine numerous times, making her a seasoned veteran of the brand. Even though she was pregnant during her latest shoot, that didn’t stop her from striking poses for the camera.
On Tuesday, May 13, Harper Goff shared images from her newest Sports Illustrated photo shoot on social media—photos taken while she was pregnant. She reflected on the impact of pregnancy and shared how meaningful the experience had been for her.
“Shooting for Swimsuit during the most special time in my life was such an honor,” she captioned the post, along with a series of pregnancy photos. “Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, life-changing journey. I’ve never felt more empowered, full of love, and filled with purpose. I’m so grateful to have these photos forever to remember such a precious time.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with kind words and congratulations. “You’ve always been stunning inside and out. So happy for you,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Detroit is lucky to have you as Mrs. Detroit.”
In another social media post, Harper Goff also revealed that the couple is expecting a baby girl.
“I actually did the Sports Illustrated shoot at 18 weeks pregnant,” she explained. “It was such a strange stage—I couldn’t suck it in anymore, but I also didn’t have a full bump to show off yet.”
She continued, “I was bulking up for the shoot, which was wild. It’s so cool to think I’ll look back at those photos and know she was in there.” Harper also said the shoot was the hardest one yet because she was in such an odd in-between phase physically and emotionally.
She also joked about not being able to enjoy a margarita during the shoot. What else can you do?
“No margaritas, and I’m in a bikini,” she said with a laugh. “It was such a strange transition period. At the beginning, you’re just learning to understand your body and how it’s changing.”
The couple first revealed Harper Goff’s pregnancy back in February during their appearance at the 2025 NFL Honors event in New Orleans.
