As Detroit Lions football returns, a popular St. Charles restaurant is challenging fans to tackle the Dan Campbell Burger.
With football season back, a well-known St. Charles eatery is inviting guests to take on the mighty Dan Campbell Burger.
Cam’s Brick Oven in St. Charles had massive success with the burger back in January during the Lions’ playoff run.
The burger includes two 7-ounce patties, three cheeses (American, cheddar, pepper jack), jalapenos, shredded brisket, and mozzarella sticks, according to Chris Palmer, Cam’s kitchen manager and chef. Barbecue and ranch sauces are added too.
In addition to the burger, Cam’s will also unveil the Anzalone Calzone, The Big Hutch, and The Sonic and Knuckles Wing.
Palmer said The Big Hutch includes French fries smothered with queso cheese and homemade southwest ranch, topped with smoked mac and cheese and a choice of Brisket, Pulled Pork, or Nashville Hot Chicken.
Cam’s Brick Oven features multiple TVs so fans can root for the Lions in their preseason opener while devouring the Dan Campbell Burger.
The Detroit Lions are scheduled to face the Los Angeles Chargers in the Hall of Fame game tonight at 8 p.m.
