Brian May and Andrea Bocelli perform Queen classic in new footage on guitarist’s birthday
Sir Brian May has celebrated his birthday performing a Queen classic with Andrea Bocelli at the maestro’s third and final 30th anniversary concert.
As Sir Brian May turned 77 this Friday, the Queen guitarist was in Tuscany to perform a set with Andrea Bocelli at his third and final 30th anniversary concert.
In backstage footage you can view above, the rock legend was surprised with a birthday cake, before the Italian maestro sang Happy Birthday to him live on stage.
Sharing the moment on social media, Sir Brian wrote: “How grateful am I ? Who gets to have Andrea Bocelli sing Happy Birthday for him ?!!!! (along with the entire beautiful Tuscan audience ! ) Well, a birthday I will never forget – Thanks all – BRI XXX.”
