“Love seeing who Aidan’s married to this week”: Aidan Hutchinson’s mother calls out viral AI wedding hoax  On November 26

On November 26, 2025, Melissa Hutchinson—mother of Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson—shut down an AI-generated fake engagement post that had begun circulating online.

The altered image portrayed Aidan wearing a groom’s suit beside a woman in a wedding dress, falsely implying he had recently gotten married.

Melissa Hutchinson mocks the fake marriage rumor on Instagram

Sharing the image on her Instagram Story, Melissa joked, “Love seeing who Aidan’s married to this week,” adding several laughing emojis. Her response highlighted yet another AI-created rumor targeting the Lions standout.

The bogus post even included fabricated quotes claiming Hutchinson had been in a decade-long relationship and was defending his fictional partner from comments about her race. None of the statements had any connection to Hutchinson’s actual life or known relationships.

In addition to the fake wedding story, Melissa pointed out several other AI-invented narratives about her son—such as claims that he secretly had a child, bought a diner, donated huge sums of money, or signed a supposed $180 million deal.

This isn’t the first time the family has fought back against digital misinformation. Back in July 2025, Aidan and the family’s House of Hutch brand posted a warning on Instagram, alerting fans to a wave of AI-fabricated articles circulating on Facebook. They advised followers to be skeptical of random internet posts and to rely only on credible sources like the Detroit Lions, Aidan’s verified social accounts, or established sports media outlets.

Some of the previous bogus headlines falsely claimed Hutchinson was switching positions, giving away his signing bonus, or purchasing an animal shelter.

Aidan’s real personal life

Despite the rumors, Hutchinson’s actual romantic life is far more low-key. He is reportedly dating fitness trainer Alivia Rose Callaghan, though he keeps his private life largely out of the public eye and has not officially commented on his relationship status.

For now, the Lions star remains concentrated on his NFL career, especially after returning from the tibia-and-fibula fracture he suffered during the 2024 season.
