Week 15 Injury Update vs. Lions: Davante Adams Likely Available Despite Questionable Tag
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — Los Angeles Rams wideout Davante Adams is officially labeled as questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Detroit Lions at SoFi Stadium (1:25 p.m. PT on FOX), but head coach Sean McVay indicated there is strong optimism that Adams will be on the field.
Speaking ahead of Friday’s practice, McVay said he would be shocked if Adams is unable to play, noting that the veteran receiver has approached the week with confidence and readiness despite dealing with a hamstring issue.
McVay also confirmed that wide receiver Tutu Atwell, who has been practicing during his 21-day window following a stint on injured reserve, is expected to be available for the game.
On the Detroit side, the Lions will be without defensive back Brian Branch, who has been sidelined due to an Achilles injury. Head coach Dan Campbell also announced that safety Kerby Joseph will not play after experiencing a setback in his recovery from a knee issue. Additionally, starting left tackle Taylor Decker is among seven Detroit players currently listed as questionable as he manages a shoulder injury.
The complete injury designations for both teams are outlined below.
*It should be noted that the Rams conducted only a walkthrough on Wednesday, so participation levels for that day reflect projected involvement rather than an actual full practice.
