With the Detroit Lions’ season officially over, quarterback Jared Goff and the organization are turning the page after a 9–8 campaign that fell short of their ultimate goals. While football may be on pause, a different milestone is being celebrated in the Goff household.
On Thursday, February 5, Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Harper Goff, revealed a personal update to her followers that quickly drew attention.
Harper Goff has adapted seamlessly to life in Detroit, even after trading the sunshine of California for Midwest winters. Rather than resisting the move, she has openly embraced the city and the state of Michigan, frequently expressing her appreciation on social media and in interviews.
Last fall, she spoke about that connection during a September 2025 appearance on The Morning After with Kelly Stafford & Frank podcast, where she highlighted her involvement with Forgotten Harvest. The Detroit-based nonprofit distributes roughly 144,000 pounds of excess food each day to area charities, helping families access fresh meals at no cost.
“The impact they have is incredible,” Harper Goff said on the podcast. “They’re helping so many people, and I try to stay as involved as possible. I usually go almost every week.”
Now, she’s sharing news from another chapter of her life—her continued work with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Harper Goff has appeared in the publication multiple times, and even pregnancy didn’t slow her down during the magazine’s most recent shoot. She was featured in the latest edition despite expecting at the time.
On February 5, Harper Goff announced that she is the face of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s February 2026 digital cover. Alongside the reveal, she shared the caption, “The kind of confidence that carries. Christen Goff for SI Swimsuit’s February 2026 Digital Cover.”
Sports Illustrated shared the post as well, tagging Harper Goff as a partner. She responded enthusiastically, writing that she “could believe it,” punctuated with multiple exclamation points.
Jared Goff’s Season by the Numbers
While his wife made headlines off the field, Jared Goff delivered a strong performance during the 2025–26 NFL season. He started all 17 games and finished with 4,564 passing yards—second-most in the league—along with 34 touchdown passes. He completed 68 percent of his throws, posted a 105.5 passer rating, and threw just eight interceptions, according to NFL data.
Following Detroit’s season-ending 19–16 road victory over the Chicago Bears, Goff reflected on finishing the year with a win.
“It’s good to end on a positive note,” Goff told reporters. “I don’t know how much that carries into April, but I hope it does. This situation feels different than 2022, when we were chasing a playoff spot and barely missed it.”
He continued by noting that expectations were much higher this season. “When you fall short, it stings. But that last win mattered. Hopefully it sets a tone moving forward. We’ve got the right group of guys, and it feels good to see who we are again—seeing it live, at full speed. Time will tell where it leads, but it feels like the right step.”
