Lions prompt Cardinals to take down Devin Booker post.

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was one of several Detroit Lions fans at State Farm Stadium to watch Detroit face the Arizona Cardinals.

Booker, originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a known Detroit sports enthusiast, saw his Lions defeat the Cardinals 20-13, improving to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals quickly deleted a post of him at the game on X after realizing he was wearing a Lions hat, which the Lions pointed out in a tweet.

Afterward, the Lions shared another picture of Booker, clearly showing his hat, with the caption, “Thanks for coming out @DevinBook.”

“I had the honor of having Al McCoy narrate the first eight years of my career,” Booker said. “He was inducted into the Ring of Honor in my second season, and that’s when I understood what an exceptional talent he was. Over time, I’ve realized what an even more remarkable person he was. We will miss Al, and I’m glad our legacies in Phoenix are forever linked.”

Booker and the Suns begin training camp next week ahead of their first preseason game on Oct. 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
