According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Washington Commanders are strongly considering taking quarterback Jayden Daniels from LSU with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Schefter mentioned that visits with other quarterbacks like Drake Maye and J.J. McCarthy are planned, but they seem to be leaning towards Daniels.

Another draft expert, Daniel Jeremiah, also believes that the Commanders are set on picking Daniels and are not looking to trade the pick.

This decision could impact the New York Giants, who hold the sixth overall pick and are also eyeing top quarterbacks in the draft.
