Maxx Crosby reacts to the talk of a potential trade to the Lions: “It’s unbelievable, bro.”

Since the season-ending injury to star edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions fans have been speculating about the possibility of a major trade for Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby.

Crosby has repeatedly expressed his desire to remain with the Raiders, and owner Mark Davis has stated he has no intention of trading his best player by the November 5 deadline, even as the Raiders struggle.

However, speculation has been fueled by Crosby’s remarks about not wanting to endure a rebuild, which the Raiders are facing. He also posted on social media expressing a wish to return to Michigan to win a championship with the Lions.

As trade rumors swirl, Crosby addressed the situation on his “The Rush Podcast” on Tuesday. “Honestly, it’s wild, bro. Last year, there was some trade talk,” he said. “That’s when I feel like it kind of started, send me to Detroit; their fan base was all over me. It was talked about, but it wasn’t as intense. Now it feels like they’ve started a whole pandemonium, a revolution.”

Crosby also discussed his comments about the Raiders’ rebuild and noted how fans from various teams have been relentless in trying to recruit him. “Just seeing all the craziness, it’s been (expletive) insane,” he said. “I can’t even open my phone.

Every few seconds it’s Lions fans, Falcons fans, Bears fans. It’s me edited into a different jersey, and I’m like, ‘What the (expletive) has this turned into?’ I made one comment in a press conference last week, and it got even crazier. I wasn’t trying to say anything. I just want to win, no matter where I am.”

“You know where I’m at on Sundays. I’m out there hunting (expletives) and dominating, and that’s what I plan on doing, getting better every week,” Crosby added. “There’s a lot of noise. Even my family, close friends, everyone is messaging me, ‘Come to Detroit.’ It’s turned into a revolution.”

Despite the enthusiasm from Lions and other fans, Crosby reaffirmed his commitment to staying in Las Vegas. “And I’m just here, doing my thing,” Crosby said. “I feel like I have to address this with my teammates. I’m not trying to leave. I know it’s a business, and I don’t have full control over it. But I want to be here. I want to be Silver and Black. I’ll say it loud and clear: I want to be a Raider. I’ve repeated that over and over.”

At this point, it’s evident that Crosby prefers not to be traded, meaning he would only be moved if the Raiders ignore his wishes. Las Vegas respects its franchise cornerstone too much to do that.
