From welcoming a baby it.From welcoming a baby daughter to becoming the NFL’s highest-paid player, Prescott recently took on another major life step—engagement.
During the Cowboys’ bye week, Prescott proposed to his girlfriend, Sarah Jane, on a golf course. “Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for,” Prescott announced on social media.
After practice today, Prescott shared with reporters more about his proposal plans. “I’m super excited,” Prescott said.
“I’ve known it for a while…I got the ring a few months ago. She had no idea. She’s a big golfer, thought we were going golfing. I told her we had a lifetime to golf.”
Prescott explained he hid the ring in a fake golf ball, which Jane nearly hit before he proposed.
“I’m just glad she said yes. Super, super blessed and happy. Thankful for this family I’ve started.”
With his engagement complete, Prescott now shifts his focus to a high-stakes “Sunday Night Football” matchup as the Cowboys take on their longtime rivals, the San Francisco 49ers.
Like the Cowboys, the 49ers are coming off a loss and struggling with injuries. Fortunately, Dallas tends to play its best on the road.
Heading into the game, Prescott has 1,602 passing yards (10th in the NFL), eight touchdowns, and six interceptions as the Cowboys aim to stay undefeated away from home.
