Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has been in offseason mode since the team closed out the 2025–26 campaign with a narrow 19–16 victory over the Chicago Bears on January 4. Still, his time away from the field hasn’t been spent simply resting.
While preparing for another NFL season, Hutchinson is also gearing up for the launch of a new personal venture. At the same time, he recently represented the Lions on one of football’s biggest stages outside the playoffs—the Pro Bowl.
Hutchinson took part in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, the NFL’s annual all-star showcase that features skill challenges and non-contact flag football in a relaxed, fan-friendly environment. Selected as an edge rusher for the NFC roster, the appearance marked his second Pro Bowl nod.
The honor followed a standout 2025–26 season in which Hutchinson posted career-best numbers across multiple categories. He finished the year with 14.5 sacks, 54 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, three passes defended, and one interception. League data also credited him with an NFL-high 100 quarterback pressures, while Pro Football Focus graded him at 91.9 overall—fourth-best among edge defenders.
But football statistics aren’t the only thing Hutchinson has been focused on lately.
Hutchinson Prepares to Launch Golf Lifestyle Brand
According to the brand’s official website, 4th & Fore blends Hutchinson’s football mindset with the elegance of golf. The name draws inspiration from critical moments on the football field—specifically fourth down situations—symbolizing confidence, pressure, and decisive action.
“4th & Fore is built on the idea of going all-in when it matters most,” the website explains. “It’s more than clever wordplay—it represents a mindset.”
Fans can also sign up through the site to receive email updates ahead of the official release, which is listed as “coming soon.”
Football Still Comes First for Hutchinson
Despite his growing interest in golf and business, Hutchinson’s primary focus remains football. The Lions are entering a pivotal offseason as they work toward a return to contention, and Hutchinson remains a central figure in those plans.
During the 2025–26 season, he became the first player in franchise history to record multiple double-digit sack seasons within his first four years in the league. His performance earned him finalist recognition for both AP Comeback Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Detroit selected Hutchinson with the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Michigan, instantly making him a hometown favorite. Since then, he has established himself as one of the NFL’s premier edge rushers.
After missing most of the 2024–25 season due to a fractured tibia and fibula suffered in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys, Hutchinson returned fully healthy and dominant in 2025–26—solidifying his status as a cornerstone of the Lions’ defense.
