Detroit Lions Make Statement With Four 2025 All-Pro Selections Featuring Two First-Time Honorees
The Detroit Lions were well represented on the official 2025 NFL All-Pro team, with four players earning honors following standout seasons. The All-Pro teams, voted on by the Associated Press, were announced Saturday.
Linebacker Jack Campbell and right tackle Penei Sewell were named First-Team All-Pro, while wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and defensive end Aidan Hutchinson earned Second-Team All-Pro recognition.
Jack Campbell Earns First All-Pro Selection After Breakout Season
The biggest surprise—and highlight—for Detroit is Jack Campbell, who earned his first career All-Pro honor after a breakout third season. Campbell emerged as one of the NFL’s most productive linebackers, finishing the year with:
176 tackles
5.0 sacks
4 passes defended
3 forced fumbles
2 fumble recoveries
Campbell also posted a 90.2 Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade, ranking second among all NFL linebackers, trailing only San Francisco 49ers star Fred Warner.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell praised his linebacker’s impact and leadership.
“He doesn’t come off the field, he’s our bell cow, green dot,” Campbell said. “He’s smart, instinctive, snap-to-whistle all-out, and he doesn’t take plays off. He’s invaluable.”
Penei Sewell Continues All-Pro Dominance
For Penei Sewell, this marks his third consecutive First-Team All-Pro selection, further cementing his status as one of the NFL’s elite offensive linemen. Sewell is also considered a leading candidate for the inaugural Protector of the Year Award, recently announced by the league. He already claimed PFF’s version of the award earlier this week.
Amon-Ra St. Brown and Aidan Hutchinson Earn Second-Team Honors
Amon-Ra St. Brown earned his third career All-Pro selection, though this is his first time landing on the Second Team. The Lions’ star receiver finished the season with:
117 receptions
1,401 receiving yards
11 touchdowns
This year’s First-Team wide receiver spots went to Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Ja’Marr Chase.
Meanwhile, Aidan Hutchinson received his first All-Pro nod after a dominant pass-rushing season. The Lions defensive end finished:
Fourth in the NFL with 14.5 sacks
First in total pressures (100 per PFF, 89 via Next Gen Stats)
Second in forced fumbles with four
Hutchinson was edged out of First-Team honors by Myles Garrett, Will Anderson, and Micah Parsons, but his recognition highlights his continued rise among the league’s top defenders.
Lions’ All-Pro Recognition Signals Championship-Level Core
With four players named to the 2025 NFL All-Pro team, the Detroit Lions continue to establish themselves as one of the NFL’s most talented and well-rounded rosters. The emergence of Jack Campbell alongside proven stars like Sewell, St. Brown, and Hutchinson underscores Detroit’s bright future—and its growing national respect.
