INJURY UPDATE: Boston Celtics vs The Pelicans 

 

 

 

 

The Boston Celtics are scheduled to play against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET for their second and final game of the season series.

In their previous matchup on January 20, the Celtics emerged victorious with a score of 118-112. Despite the Celtics currently leading the Eastern Conference and the Atlantic Division with a record of 57-16, they are coming off two consecutive losses to the Atlanta Hawks. On the other side, the Pelicans, who are fifth in the Western Conference and first in the Southwest Division with a 45-28 record, are coming off a win against the Milwaukee Bucks where CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson had a strong performance.

The Celtics’ injury report includes SG JD Davison (ankle) and G Jaden Springer (knee) ruled out,

while the Pelicans have SG Dyson Daniels probable, but PG Jose Alvarado (oblique) and SF Brandon Ingram (knee) out.

Dyson Daniels is expected to return after a G League stint and successful meniscus surgery.
