Knicks player Jalen Brunson put up an impressive 61 points in a game but fell just short of breaking the team’s single-game scoring record.

Despite his outstanding performance, the team still suffered an overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Brunson’s scoring outburst included 38 points in the second half and he also made Knicks history by setting new records for shots made and attempted in a single game.

Another standout player in the game was Victor Wembanyama, who also had a career night with 40 points, 20 rebounds, and seven assists.
