Although wide receiver isn’t a pressing need for the Green Bay Packers, they are considering bolstering their depth chart in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

General manager Brian Gutekunst mentioned the possibility of adding more receiving talent through the draft, even though they have other areas to address.

With multiple picks in the early rounds, the Packers have the flexibility to improve various positions.

It might be wise to invest in another receiver for long-term planning, especially considering the contract timelines of current players like Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontavyion Wicks.

While Gutekunst’s words hint at drafting a receiver, their interest is evident in meeting with players like Jermaine Burton and Adonai Mitchell. Burton, a prospect they’ve interviewed twice including a top-30 visit, could be a target in the second or third round.

On the other hand, Mitchell, who fits the team’s size and athleticism criteria, is another intriguing option despite not having a top-30 visit yet.

The Packers are exploring their options to ensure a strong roster moving forward.
