Raiders WR Davante Adams explains why he wants to quit the team…
Davante Adams does not sound happy about being on Raiders.
Davante Adams, a wide receiver with the Las Vegas Raiders, seemed to regret his choice to go to Sin City after just two seasons there.
Adams was just on the podcast “The Rush With Maxx Crosby.” The first question Crosby posed to Adams concerned the rise of Jordan Love, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers and Adams’ 2020–2021 colleague.
Remarkably, Adams talked more about Love and his choice to leave Green Bay around the 1:20 point than he did about Love.
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams appeared to speak with a tinge of regret about his decision to move to Sin City two seasons ago.
Adams recently appeared on “The Rush With Maxx Crosby” podcast. Crosby’s first question to Adams was about the emergence of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who was Adams’ teammate from 2020 to 2021.
Interestingly enough, Adams spoke more about his decision to leave Green Bay — and Love — rather than Love himself (1:20 mark).
“I’m like the poster child for ‘you make a decision and you live with it.’ I’ll never regret anything. I don’t care if I came [to Las Vegas] and my career went to s–t. You’ve got to make decisions and roll with them,” Adams said.
“I don’t regret what I did, but at the same time you look back on it and you’re like ‘dang, [Jordan Love] kind of balling right now.’”
Adams admitted that he had seen the potential in Love while the two were together in Green Bay. However, Adams had to make a decision based on what he believed to be best for him at the time.
