Steffi Graf Turns Emotional As Old Memories With Mother Come Rushing Back During Candid Chat With Husband Andre Agassi in Romania

 

 

 

 

 

Many outlets have showed a trouble relationship between Steffi Graf and her father, Peter Graf. While he caught flak for pushing his daughter to unhealthy limits, her mother has always provided the kind of support she needed.

 

 

 

 

 

The German player was recently reminded of the support of her mother when she was Simona Halep‘s father in tears as the Romanian was applauded by fans while walking on the court.

 

 

 

Graf and Andre Agassi recently teamed up for an exhibition match against Simona Halep and Andrei Pavel at the Cluj-Napoca. The stadium erupted in cheers as Halep walked on the court, and her father couldn’t help but shed tears of happiness at watching his daughter receive such love. Watching sweet moment between father and daughter unfold, Graf couldn’t help but be reminded of her mother.

 

“You know the most beautiful moment last night was Simona Halep’s dad last night crying as she was walking in. It depends when parents are supportive. You know sometimes it’s helpful supports, sometimes it’s lil hard, sometimes it’s tough but ultimately that relationship will guide you for your life,” said the only Golden Slam girl in tennis.

 

 

 

 

He further said, “She went to the Burning Man festival this year. She helps us with the kids and is a solid woman we can count on.” Graf’s emotions in Halep’s father’s case also reminded fans that beyond being a legendary tennis player, she is also a mother of two. After she moved on from tennis, her kids became her top priority. Andre Agassi’s heartwarming message to Graf was a testament her following the footsteps of her mother.
