Dak Prescott is injured accidentally by unexpected big vehicle. See more…

The photo was reportedly taken while Prescott was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas.

DALLAS — Social media is swarming after a photo was posted to X, formerly Twitter, of what appears to be Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wearing a walking boot on his right foot.

The photo shows Prescott and his girlfriend walking on a dock while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Prescott is dealing with a “very minor” foot sprain and is wearing the boot to protect it.

This shouldn’t be a cause for concern for any Cowboys fans as Prescott has ample time to heal up before reporting to training camp on July 24 in Oxnard, California.

Rapaport doesn’t believe this minor sprain is affecting his preparation for the 2024-2025 season.

In a text sent to WFAA’s partners at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Prescott said “I’m great.” Prescott told the Star-Telegram he was wearing the boot for precautionary reasons because “the last time I went deep sea fishing my (ankle) swole up.”

Back in 2020, Prescott broke his right ankle and had to undergo surgery. Prescott told the Star-Telegram it’s “the same ankle, same issues” he has been dealing with since fracturing his ankle in 2020, causing him to miss the final 11 games of the season.
