Dak Prescott’s girlfriend conveyed a moving message in response to his major new Cowboys contract.

Throughout the offseason, one of the main topics of discussion was Dak Prescott’s potential future with the Cowboys.

The two sides ultimately reached an agreement on Sunday, when Prescott inked a $240 million, four-year contract with the NFC East division team.

Sarah Jane Ramos, Prescott’s girlfriend, was ecstatic to learn that her boyfriend had struck a historic contract with the Cowboys, making him the highest-paid athlete in NFL history.

“The best father, partner, and most deserving man.” Ramos posted on Instagram Stories, “We love you.”

Prescott lights up Week 1 following his historic contract with the Cowboys.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys made an explosive start to the 2024 NFL season, winning 33-17 at Huntington Bank Field to completely destroy the Cleveland Browns.

The standout signal-caller for the Cowboys completed 19 of 32 passes for 179 yards and a score while throwing zero interceptions.

He did not turn the ball over at any point during the game despite being sacked three times for a loss of sixteen yards and fumbling the ball once.

With just under seven minutes remaining in the first quarter, Prescott found Brandin Cooks for a 21-yard touchdown pass. The Browns had taken the lead earlier in the first with a field goal.

After that, the Cowboys scored 20 straight points to build a dominating 27-3 lead. In the third quarter, Jerry Jeudy’s touchdown reception gave the Browns their first point of the game.

The Browns, who were also restricted to only 230 total yards and just 2/15 on third downs, never really threatened Dallas’ enormous lead.

Dak Prescott is expected to be the Cowboys’ starting quarterback for many years to come after agreeing to the big extended agreement.

With Prescott in charge of the duties under center, Dallas has struggled to make the playoffs, but the Cowboys have enough faith in the former Mississippi State Bulldogs star to sign him to a massive contract.

Dallas was defeated in the previous wild-card round.

The Cowboys selected Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, when Tony Romo was still the team’s starting quarterback.

Dallas started Prescott in the third week of the preseason after Romo suffered an injury.

The Cowboys’ home opener for the 2024 season will be against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
