Micah Parsons steps into a Raising Cane’s for a work shift, with images documenting the experience.
Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons may not be browsing LinkedIn for side jobs, but if he ever needed one, Raising Cane’s would be a safe bet.
Parsons visited the Cowboys and Post Malone-themed Raising Cane’s in Dallas on Tuesday, where he worked a short “shift.”
Though it wasn’t a full eight hours, his appearance thrilled fans as he served up Raising Cane’s chicken fingers in the drive-thru and at the counter, even taking time to sign merchandise. Naturally, his presence attracted a crowd, with the line stretching well beyond the door.
This Raising Cane’s, located at 2255 W. Northwest Highway, is a collaboration between the Dallas Cowboys and music star Post Malone. The restaurant is filled with Cowboys and Post Malone memorabilia.
Parsons called it “the coolest Raising Cane’s I’ve ever been to.” While a few football-related questions came up, the focus remained on the fun of the event. When asked about his favorite order, Parsons shared, “The Caniac combo is my go-to. I need three pieces of Texas toast.” He admitted to having gone through a phase of eating at Raising Cane’s daily. The Caniac combo includes six chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, Cane’s sauces, and a large drink.
After answering questions, Parsons moved to the drive-thru, where he enthusiastically served customers, joking with employees and engaging with fans, making their day.
“It’s important to give back to the fans and embrace their love,” said Parsons. “I believe that becoming a better football player starts with becoming a better person, which is something I work on every day.”
