Even after relocating, Dan Campbell holds the same stance on Lions fans as before.

Earlier this week, Crains Detroit Business reported that Lions head coach Dan Campbell listed his Bloomfield Hills home for sale due to security concerns, and it’s already pending. “There’s plenty of space, it’s on two acres, and the home is beautiful,” Campbell told Crain’s. “But people figured out where we lived after losses.”

According to Fox 2 Detroit, Campbell’s family filed police reports following the NFC Championship loss to the 49ers. After last season’s Cowboys game loss, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported contractors were sent to Campbell’s house after his address leaked.

Reporters were bound to ask Campbell about the move in his Friday press conference due to security concerns. “Man, I don’t, no disrespect — I don’t even want to go there, with any of it,” Campbell said. “I’ve got a job to do. My primary focus is to coach this team and prepare them each week.”

Despite moving, Campbell praised Lions fans when asked if he had a message for them after issues at his old house following the 49ers playoff loss.

Throughout his tenure, Campbell has praised the passion of Lions fans. He’s not letting a small number of overzealous “fanatics” affect his view of the fanbase.

“I love our fans. They’re unbelievable,” Campbell said. “There’s no other place I’d rather be, or team I’d rather coach. It’s rare to have an environment like we do, and I tell our guys that. Not every place is like this.”
