Just over a week ago, one player missed the Lions’ Week 2 game but has returned to practice this week, showing consistent improvement.
Glasgow missed Wednesday’s session but participated in practices on Thursday and Friday, and Coach Campbell indicated he should be ready for the upcoming game.
“He’s good. He’s doing well,” Campbell stated.
“We took care of him on Wednesday, but he practiced yesterday without any issues, so he should be fine.”Anzalone suffered a significant head injury last Sunday.
He missed Wednesday’s practice but was able to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday as he navigates the NFL’s concussion protocols.
His availability remains uncertain and depends on his progress, as he was still limited on Friday. “(Alex has) been going through the protocol, and he was out there yesterday,” Campbell noted on Friday.
“He ran around a bit, and we’ll assess him today. It’s tough to predict since the concussion protocol can be unpredictable.
Arnold was sidelined for two days due to illness but returned to practice on Friday.
Detroit Football Network’s Justin Rogers spoke with Arnold after practice, and the rookie confirmed he had a stomach bug but is feeling better and plans to play this weekend.
None of the players mentioned here have any injury designations and are expected to be available against the Cardinals.
On the Cardinals’ side, two offensive starters sustained mid-week hamstring injuries, potentially forcing a change in their game plan late in the week.
If Beachum is unable to play, Jackson Barton, recently promoted from the practice squad, would likely step in at right tackle, facing NFL sack leader Aidan Hutchinson.
Additionally, if Dortch, the Cardinals’ starting slot receiver and punt returner, is unavailable, the team will need to make further adjustments.
