When the Lions traded Matthew Stafford, they didn’t just acquire Jared Goff; they also received two first-round draft picks from the Rams.

Using one of those picks, the Lions moved up in the 2022 NFL Draft to select wide receiver Jameson Williams, a choice that Goff appreciates.

In a recent victory against the Seahawks, Goff connected with Williams twice, including a notable 70-yard touchdown.

However, now in his third season, Williams is making an impact, leading the Lions with 289 receiving yards after just four games, causing opposing defenses to take notice.
