Five months after introducing his Sun Day Red collection, Tiger Woods is gaining ground happy in the profitable golf apparel market.
The $135 chain-stitched hoodie has been the top-selling item in the lineup, according to Scott Frost, the collection’s marketing director.
“It’s the standout. Each time we launch new colors, they’re gone fast.”
Alongside the hoodie, the $115 polo shirts have been strong performers as well, Frost noted.
“We anticipate these will remain key drivers for the brand.”
Headwear has also excelled, with hats displaying Sun Day Red’s logo—a leaping tiger with 15 stripes symbolizing Woods’ 15 major wins—priced at $40 or $50.
“They’re an easy choice for Tiger fans who previously bought Nike,” Frost said.
