The Detroit Police are examining why Jameson Williams, a star player for the Lions, was not apprehended after being caught with two guns.
Detroit Police have reportedly initiated an investigation into why Lions star Jameson Williams was not arrested after being found with two guns. It’s alleged that the receiver was a passenger in a vehicle with his brother when it was stopped for speeding on October 8.
Williams’ brother admitted that there were two guns in the car, but the NFL player—currently serving a two-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs—was soon released. The decision to not detain the Detroit player is now under scrutiny by police chiefs who are reportedly “p****d off,” according to WYZX News.
“I want to know if this individual being a Detroit Lions player influenced the decision-making process,” Commander Michael McGinnis reportedly stated.
