Christen Harper Goff on Life as a Detroit WAG
On October 18, Harper spoke with Us Weekly about her experience as a Detroit Lions WAG and what she enjoys about it.
“Everyone’s in a unique position since we’re all from different places,” she noted, while discussing her partnership with The Cocktail Collection, which features a gameday Crown Royal Black Cherry Whisky Sour.
“Some girls are locals, but most are new here, getting to know the city together,” she added. “With Jared joining the team, many of us discovered Detroit simultaneously.”
She recalled Goff’s tough start with the Lions, ending his first season with a 3-13-1 record.
“It was hard not winning as much as we are now,” she mentioned.
She added, “The ups and downs brought us closer. We supported each other during tough times and celebrated the good moments.”
Regarding her gameday fashion, Harper prefers a simpler style compared to other NFL WAGs.
“My favorite thing is hunting for vintage Lions pieces,” she explained. “I wear and re-wear them, adding my personal touch, maybe cutting or restyling them. I’m not as creative as the other girls, but I love discovering unique finds.”
