After defeating the Jaguars, Dan Campbell maintained his signature enthusiasm in the locker room.

The Detroit Lions are on a roll, now boasting eight consecutive wins, with their postgame locker room celebrations becoming a highlight.

Head coach Dan Campbell, the heart of the team’s culture, sets the tone, and the energy in those moments is a testament to his leadership.

Following Sunday’s commanding 52-6 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, it might have seemed like a time for a more subdued locker room vibe.

Sure, dominating a weak, outmatched opponent is always satisfying, but this outcome was widely anticipated. The Lions handled business just as expected.

However, subdued energy is not in Campbell’s nature, especially after a performance filled with positives. The locker room celebration reflected that.

Dan Campbell keeps the Lions fired up in the locker room, even after a blowout win.

“Hey, that’s a hell of a job, men. That’s a hell of a job,” Campbell said. “I’m gonna go back to what I said last night.

When you have talent, talented football players, and they are made of the right kinda stuff, and those guys come together, you have a collective willpower that you can make the game any way you want it to go.”

“You can do that. And that’s exactly what you guys did,” Campbell continued.

“You came out, after a rough game last week, we found a way to win. And we weren’t having it today, men.

You guys willed that game the way you wanted it. And we have that ability. Remember that.”

Campbell emphasized the Lions’ ability to control games on their terms. While some critics may argue they should ease up against struggling teams, Campbell and the Lions see no reason to apologize for dominance.

He announced game balls for the entire offense, which set franchise records for total yards and first downs, while praising Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Kerby Joseph and Jack Campbell also earned game balls as the defense allowed just 170 total yards.
