Amon-Ra St. Brown warns Xavier McKinney of Packers after dismissive remarks, responding strongly.
The Detroit Lions, aiming to repeat as NFC North champions, boast an impressive 11-1 record with hopes of a Super Bowl appearance.
Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a central figure in coach Dan Campbell and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson’s high-powered offense this season.
However, ahead of Thursday’s matchup with the Lions, Packers safety Xavier McKinney made waves by dismissing concerns about St. Brown, stating, “I ain’t worried about him. We’re not worried about him.”
St. Brown, who has recorded 76 receptions for 820 yards and several touchdowns this season, addressed McKinney’s comments on the St. Brown Podcast, hosted by his brother Equanimeous, a former Packers player.
“I’m kind of glad if they’re not worried about me. Hopefully, I can make some plays. Excited to play him,” Amon-Ra remarked in response to his brother’s questions.
Equanimeous followed up by asking, “Are you worried about anybody on the Packers?” to which Amon-Ra replied confidently, “Just like he’s not worried, I’m not worried.
It’ll be a good one, can’t wait. I’ll see him Thursday, so it’ll be good. Make sure you tune in.”
