Exciting changes to Tiger Woods’ new golf course are sure to please devoted players.

Tiger Woods has teamed up with 11-time MLB All-Star Mike Trout to create a golf course in New Jersey, USA, now completed and named Trout National – The Reserve.

Finished in October, the par-72 course spans 7,455 yards. Thanks to favorable weather, all 18 holes are fully grassed and ready for play.

Designed by Woods’ TGR Design firm, the course features a stately manor-style clubhouse. It emphasizes creative shot-making, as reported by Golf.com.

A baseball-inspired comfort station, called the Dugout, is being finalized between the 14th and 16th tees.

Golfers will also find a refreshment area between the 6th and 11th holes, equipped with wrap-around terraces, fire pits, outdoor cooking, and a bar.

Additional facilities include a fully-lit short course, a putting course, a short game area, and a performance center with three hitting.

The clubhouse features slate roofs, limestone walls, and timber accents, offering amenities such as a spa, barber shop, bowling alley, fitness center, and a wine cellar housing 2,500 bottles.

The property also includes a helipad, five guest cottages, and two lodges for overnight stays. The club’s grand opening is scheduled for April 2026, with member play set to begin next year.

Tyler Trout, leading the club’s development team, shared: “It will be challenging, but I don’t think people will lose many balls here.

It embraces a golfing style that’s grown in popularity over the last decade. It’s pure golf—no houses in sight—but with a more modern, relaxed atmosphere.”

Woods toured the site with Trout before construction began last year. Reflecting on the visit, the 48-year-old said: “Mike and [landowner] John [Ruga] identified a site full of character, perfect for creating exceptional golf holes.

The sandy, varied terrain offers incredible natural features, giving us numerous options to build a world-class course.”

Trout added: “Some of my best golf experiences have tested my skills while still being fun, and that’s the essence of Trout National – The Reserve.

Tiger, John, and I walked every hole, and this course reflects that vision. Together, we’re crafting something truly special in my hometown.”
