Detroit Lions

“We’ll bounce back stronger,” vows Dan Campbell, firing up the Lions with bold confidence.

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell delivered a passionate message following the team’s 48-42 loss to the Buffalo Bills, a defeat that ended their 11-game winning streak and was compounded by significant injuries to key players.

In a fiery radio interview on 97.1 The  Ticket, Campbell acknowledged the challenges posed by the injuries to running back David Montgomery (sprained MCL), cornerback Carlton Davis III (broken jaw), defensive tackle Alim McNeill (torn ACL), and gunner Khalil Dorsey (broken leg).

Despite these setbacks, Campbell emphasized the team’s resilience and the opportunities for other players to step up. He stated, “We’re going to bounce back, we’re going to respond… We’re going to put the best 11 on the field, we’re going to friggin’ cut it loose.”

Adding to the team’s determination, star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, recovering from a broken shin, pledged to return if the Lions reach the Super Bowl. Hutchinson expressed his commitment, saying, “I’m on track for my goal of returning for the Super Bowl.”

The Lions, now holding a 12-2 record, face upcoming games against the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, and Minnesota Vikings. Campbell remains confident in his team’s ability to overcome adversity, stating, “We’re going to find a way, and we’re going to get it done.”
