The Detroit Lions secured a strong win against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, reaffirming their status as NFC Championship contenders despite battling injuries in recent weeks.
On Monday, Coach Dan Campbell shared updates on the possible return of two key defenders who have missed significant time this season.
Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin could return for the Lions’ game against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, December 30.
Reeves-Maybin has contributed seven tackles and one forced fumble this season, despite limited playing time.
He played in all 17 games for Detroit last season but hasn’t been active since November 3, when the Lions faced the Green Bay Packers.
His absence followed a neck injury sustained during the Week 9 matchup against CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans, which placed him on injured reserve.
Additionally, Campbell mentioned that offensive lineman Graham Glasgow is expected to return this week, providing a boost to Detroit’s lineup as the team aims to finish the regular season on a high note.
