Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury.
Lamb initially sprained the AC joint in his right shoulder in early November but continued to play through the pain. Recent evaluations revealed that the injury had worsened, leading to the decision to sideline him for the final two games. Fortunately, Lamb will not require surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Despite the Cowboys’ 7-8 record and elimination from playoff contention, Lamb’s performance this season has been impressive, recording 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns. His resilience and determination to play through injury have earned him high praise from teammates. Linebacker Micah Parsons referred to Lamb as a “warrior,” highlighting his toughness and commitment to the team. Quarterback Cooper Rush also commended Lamb’s dedication, noting that his presence on the field, even while injured, was a testament to his character and work ethic.
The Cowboys will face the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders in their final two games of the season. With Lamb sidelined, other receivers will need to step up to fill the void left by the star wideout. The team remains optimistic about Lamb’s recovery and looks forward to his return next season.
