Are the Commanders planning to use starters for the regular season finale against Dallas?

The Washington Commanders boast an impressive 11-5 record through 16 games in the 2024 NFL season, having secured a playoff berth with a crucial win over the Atlanta Falcons.

This marks a dramatic turnaround from their four-win campaign in 2023, fueled by a rejuvenated culture under head coach Dan Quinn and the steady leadership of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

With one regular season game remaining, the Commanders have an opportunity to climb from the NFC’s No. 7 seed to the No. 6 seed.

When asked about resting starters ahead of the playoffs, Quinn didn’t mince words. Washington plans to go all-in to secure better positioning.

“We’re going to attack this game as hard as we can. The seeding is important, and we’ve emphasized that as a team,” Quinn said.

“The energy at last night’s game was incredible, but we know we left plays on the field.

Elevating our game against Dallas this week is vital. Earning the six seed is a big deal, so we’ll fight like hell for it.”

Beyond playoff seeding, the Commanders aim to use this final game to build momentum for the postseason.

Quinn recognizes that a strong performance against the Dallas Cowboys could provide a critical boost ahead of more meaningful games.

The team also has the chance to extend their winning streak to five games, adding significance to the matchup.

Notably, the Commanders’ last loss came at the hands of the Cowboys, making this contest even more meaningful.
