Following a burglary of his fiancée’s car, Dak Prescott addresses the theft and its impact.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has addressed the recent wave of robberies targeting professional athletes.

This follows an incident involving his fiancée, Sarah Ramos, who had nearly $40,000 worth of belongings stolen from her car.

Items taken included designer handbags, wallets, computer software, and cash.

Prescott and Ramos, who are expecting their second baby girl, have spoken out about the challenges that come with fame.

“As athletes, our fame can make us targets,” Prescott explained. “We have to balance the positives with the negatives.

People can easily access information about our earnings or addresses, which makes us vulnerable.

It’s unfortunate, but we must take the necessary steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones.”

On Monday, the FBI issued a warning to professional sports leagues, linking the crimes to an organized group.

Players from the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars have also been victims.
