“Lions’ Kevin Zeitler Sidelined with Injury Ahead of Saturday’s Matchup Against the Commanders”
The Lions will be without right guard Kevin Zeitler for Saturday’s game against the Commanders.
Zeitler has been ruled out after sitting out practice all week due to a hamstring injury. He missed one regular-season game as well.
Christian Mahogany will take Zeitler’s spot in the lineup. Mahogany played in seven games during the regular season, starting one.
Left tackle Taylor Decker (personal) returned to practice Thursday and has no injury designation.
Running back David Montgomery (knee) and cornerback Terrion Arnold (foot) are also available to play.
Defensive lineman Pat O’Connor (calf) will join Zeitler on the sidelines. Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw (hamstring, illness) is questionable for the game.
