Ahead of the NFL Game Against the Commanders, Lions Present Playoff Uniforms

The Detroit Lions, holding the No. 1 seed, are having their best season since the Super Bowl era began in 1970. The Motor City, traditionally known for its struggles, is experiencing a shift in momentum, with many believing this could be the year Detroit makes history.

While the Lions remain the only NFC team to never reach the Super Bowl, they came close last season, advancing to the NFC Championship before losing to the San Francisco 49ers.

Now, having secured their first-ever No. 1 seed and won the NFC North for the second consecutive year, the Lions are ready to begin their path to Super Bowl LIX. They’ll face the No. 6 seed Washington Commanders at Ford Field on Saturday night.

Ahead of the exciting game, the Lions unveiled their full uniform combination, complete with an energizing message for their fans.

The team will wear their Honolulu blue jerseys, featuring a silver outline on the shoulder pads and white lettering across the chest and back. They’ll pair these jerseys with blue pants and blue socks to complete the ensemble.
