Ndidi emerges as Monaco target, but loan deal with buy clause proves tricky.

The 28-year-old Nigerian international has emerged as a top target for Monaco, who are determined to enhance their midfield with a seasoned player.

Ndidi, a crucial part of Leicester City since his arrival from Racing Genk in 2017, is reportedly a priority for the Ligue 1 side.

While Monaco have yet to table a formal offer to Leicester City, they are interested in pursuing a loan deal with an option to buy for the midfielder.

However, the transfer expert highlighted potential difficulties in securing such a deal, as Leicester are reluctant to entertain a move structured in that way, despite the buyout clause in his contract.

Ndidi’s qualities are seen as an ideal match for Monaco, who are in search of an experienced midfielder to bolster their ranks.

The Super Eagles player boasts an impressive Premier League record, having won multiple trophies with Leicester City, including the Emirates FA Cup, FA Community Shield, and Championship title.

His standout performances have also earned him personal accolades, such as Leicester City’s Young Player of the Year awards in 2017 and 2018.

Ndidi’s expertise and abilities make him an appealing option for Monaco as they aim to strengthen their midfield unit.
