Georgia Stars Excel in Senior Bowl All-Star Showcase

**Georgia Bulldogs Excel at Senior Bowl All-Star Game**

These five Bulldogs are set for the NFL.

Saturday marked one of the most thrilling events of the offseason: the annual Senior Bowl All-Star game. This event gathers top college football players from across the nation, all vying for a chance to be drafted into the NFL.

The competition is intense throughout the week of practices, and two Georgia football players stood out during these sessions. However, Saturday was the moment to don the pads and take the field for the final game, representing Georgia one last time.

Five Georgia football players participated, each recording a few stats during the game. While none had an exceptional performance, this is common in the Senior Bowl as all players receive equal playing time.

Now, let’s take a look at how each Bulldog performed in the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

**Senior Bowl Stats**

WR Arian Smith – Two catches for 37 yards.

Safety Dan Jackson – Three tackles and one pass break-up.

LB Smael Mondon – Two tackles and one pass break-up.

DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins – Two tackles.

RB Trevor Etienne – Five carries for 12 yards.

Although all five Bulldogs played well in their limited time, the standout play came from wide receiver Arian Smith. As previously mentioned, Smith had two catches for 37 yards, including one catch for 32 yards.

This wasn’t just any catch; Smith made an incredible grab with a defender all over him.

Smith is a player with a lot to prove after facing some struggles last season. But if he keeps making plays like this, he’s likely to be drafted high later this year.

Georgia’s NFL-bound players still have plenty of opportunities to impress scouts, including the upcoming Pro Day in Athens, the NFL Draft Combine from February 27 to March 2, and the NFL Draft in late April.

Stay tuned as these five Bulldogs, along with many others, continue to chase their dreams of hearing their name called on NFL Draft night.
