Jared Goff claims MVP honors in the 2025 Pro Bowl, while Jahmyr Gibbs delivers an incredible interception.

The Pro Bowl Games wrapped up on Sunday with a flag football game, followed by a few more skills competitions. Given that six Detroit Lions players attended, there’s plenty to discuss about the event held in Orlando, Florida.

Jared Goff Wins Offensive MVP Goff started as the NFC’s quarterback in the flag football game, immediately leading his team to three scoring drives. According to the broadcast, Goff threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns, earning him Offensive MVP honors as the NFC triumphed 76-63.

In addition, Goff won the precision passing contest on Thursday, making it an enjoyable weekend for the Lions’ QB. Here are some highlights of his touchdown passes:

Jahmyr Gibbs Makes an Impressive Interception Towards the end of the game, players switched positions, and Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs found himself playing cornerback. On a two-point conversion attempt for Marvin Mims Jr., Gibbs leapt and intercepted the ball. He likely would’ve returned it for a touchdown had half the AFC squad not rushed off the sidelines to stop him:

Brian Branch Adds a Pick of His Own Branch represented the Lions secondary well, even though the NFL leader in interceptions wasn’t invited to the event. Branch intercepted Joe Burrow on a short pass intended for Joe Mixon.

Lions OL Contribute to NFC Victories in Events Taylor Decker participated in the Pro Bowl tug-of-war event, helping his team secure the victory.

Meanwhile, center Frank Ragnow competed in a six-player relay race, where he and Tristan Wirfs were tasked with flipping oversized tires. They beat the AFC pair of Rashawn Slater and Tyler Linderbaum, giving their team the lead they needed to win the race.

Jack Fox Narrowly Loses His Event As the NFC’s punter, Jack Fox faced Jaguars punter Logan Cooke in an accuracy challenge. Both punters had several racks of footballs and tried to kick as many as possible into six trashcans arranged in a triangle about 30 yards away, similar to an NBA three-point contest.

Fox and Cooke tied, then tied again in overtime. In the end, Cooke won in sudden-death.
