Dan Campbell Brings UFL Offensive Coordinator to Join Lions Staff

As reported by Adam Schefter, the Detroit Lions have officially revealed the hiring of former NFL quarterback Bruce Gradkowski as an offensive assistant on their coaching staff.

Gradkowski, who spent 11 seasons in the NFL playing for teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns, brings significant experience to Detroit’s offense.

Before joining the Lions, Gradkowski was the Offensive Coordinator and play caller for the St. Louis Battlehawks in the UFL for the last two seasons. His success in this role has led to his first coaching opportunity in the NFL.

Gradkowski informed the Lions of his decision to come aboard last night, signaling an exciting new chapter in his career as he moves from player to coach in the NFL.

His deep understanding of the game and his diverse NFL experience make him a key addition to the Lions’ offensive staff.
