Draymond Green’s Injury Update for Warriors vs. Lakers Game

Draymond Green’s Injury Update for Warriors vs. Lakers

The Golden State Warriors have listed Draymond Green on the injury report ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Green, the Warriors’ forward, is dealing with a left calf strain. He is listed as probable for the Thursday night game in LA.

Both the Warriors and Lakers have made major moves ahead of the NBA trade deadline, setting up an exciting showdown. The Lakers traded for Luka Doncic, while the Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler. However, neither player will be on the court for Thursday’s game.

The Lakers have been on a hot streak, winning nine of their last 11 games, while the Warriors have struggled, winning only four of their last nine. Golden State is in desperate need of a win to gain some momentum, and superstar Steph Curry will benefit from having some help from his co-star.

Green missed seven consecutive games due to his calf strain but is expected to play his third straight game since returning. The Warriors are dealing with injuries and trades that have left five rotational players sidelined, so having Green available would be a significant boost.

So far this season, Green has appeared in 36 games, averaging 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks. However, he’s been struggling with efficiency, having one of the least productive seasons of his career. This is one of the reasons the Warriors have brought in All-Star Jimmy Butler to bolster their roster.
